Bars & Lounges

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in bars & lounges within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Chinese Restaurants

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in Chinese restaurants within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Fitness Centres

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in fitness centres within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Hairdressing & Beauty Salons

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in hairdressing & beauty salons within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Members Clubs

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in members clubs or social clubs within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Night Clubs, Ballrooms and Dancing Halls

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in night clubs, ballrooms and dancing halls within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Restaurants

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in restaurants within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Retail Stores

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in retail shops within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Screens or Multi Screens

This tariff applies to the public performance of music videos, in screen or multi screens such as LED screens or Videowall within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Shopping Mall Concourse, Lifts Lobbies

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in the common areas of shopping mall concourses and lifts lobbies within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Banks and Customers Care Centres

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in banks, customers care centres and other similar venues regularly serving customers within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Cars Showrooms

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in cars showrooms within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Clinics and Dental Clinics

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in clinics and dental clinics within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Dance Studios and Dancing Schools

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music in dance studios and dancing schools (or premises with similar natures) as an aid to tuition during dance classes or as an aid to dance lessons for individual students within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Department Stores

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in department stores within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Hotels & Guesthouses

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings and music videos in hotels and guesthouses within the repertoire of HKRIA. It covers common areas, lobby, lifts lobbies, F&B outlets, retail stores, spa / beauty salons, and fitness centres within hotel premises operated by the hotel or authorized hotel management company. Any addition or deduction of these premises will not affect the annual rate.

Playgrounds and Games Centres

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music in playgrounds and games centres within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Amusement and Pleasure Parks

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in Amusement and Pleasure Parks within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Bath Houses and Saunas

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in bath houses and saunas within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Book Stores

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in book stores within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Bowling Alleys

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in bowling alleys within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Chinese Restaurant – Special Functions/Events

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings or music videos, in banquet / party of wedding, holiday’s celebration, graduation, reunion, birthday, anniversary, charity balls, dinner party or any other special functions/events at Chinese Restaurant within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Discotheques

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in discotheques within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Establishments Using Recorded or Video Music

This tariff applies to the public performance of recorded or video music in any establishment within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Establishments with Screens

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings in any establishment with TV screen(s) playing broadcasting programs, commercials and advertisements, movie trailers etc. within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Furniture Showrooms

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in furniture showrooms within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Government Premises

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in government premises such as government departments and office or other venues occupied by government department(s) regularly serving visitors within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Ice Skating Rinks

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in ice skating rinks, within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Juke Boxes

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, by means of juke boxes, within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Music On Hold

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, while the telephone calls are waiting to be connected within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Offices

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in offices within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Supermarkets

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in supermarkets within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Concerts and Musicals

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings in live show such as singing performance, DJ performance within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Fashion Shows

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music in fashion shows within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Marketing Events & Show Cases

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in marketing events & show cases such as exhibition stands or road shows within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Show Businesses & Entertainment Events

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music, in show businesses and entertainment events which means the playing of sound recordings & music videos as the main feature of entertainment within the repertoire of HKRIA.

Non-Musical Events

This tariff applies to the public performance of sound recordings, solely as background music in non-musical events such as talk shows, ceremonies, symposiums or events with similar nature within the repertoire of HKRIA.
